Hey all. I have recently started having a problem with my feet. Male, 42, carrying a few extra logs.

Basically, if I bend them in certain ways, it can cause what I can best describe to be like a hot sharp poker being stabbed into various other parts of the foot.

Keeping the foot in a position where pain occurs, to try and stretch it, and it feels like there's a burning in the foot, mostly along the outside edge, but also around the heal on the inside. It's been going on a while, the pain often eventually stops but then comes back again a while later.

As a result my range of motion has become somewhat limited, it does not stop me walking or running or doing weights but certainly anything that involved quick direction changes would be out of the question at the minute.

Any insights welcomed.

Peripheral Neuropathy? Are you, or could you be diabetic? Neuropathy is a very common indicator of diabetes.

I had that. Get out of bed in the morning and stabbing pain in my feet. Turns out I had slightly flat feet and wearing orthopaedic insoles cured it. Might be worth a try.
