mrs got 2 pairs of reading glasses from a well known saving for specs store ...get them home and she can see a spot just under the straight ahead position , doesnt move if you move your head around , same on both pairs and i can see the same , its very slight almost like a spec of dust
she called in and theyre trying to bluff her that its a reflection or they need a clean
wondered if anyones come across this before as theyre not accpetable

Have you had a look? They may still have some markings on from the grinding process. My last glass lenses had some which polished off after a few goes.she called in and theyre trying to bluff her that its a reflection or they need a clean

A well known high street opticians who think they can save your specifications were totally rubbish for my varifocals, 5 attempts to get them right before I gave up and went to a proper place. My wife had a similar issue.
They are cheap for a reason. They used to be much better, but I think they have gone for really cheap nasty lenses, even the top of their range are not even close to the varilux lenses I have now.

yes i had a look...i can see it , like a spec off dust in the same place on all 4 lenses , doesnt wipe off with a clothi will see what they say , tbh we can get a pair of ready specs for £2 that dont have it , so wont be paying £130 for some that have defects
