Reading the hair transplant topic, I don't think I could ever do that but is their a more natural way?

Stuff that actually works.
Finasteride
Minoxidil

Read the sides. Some people having issues getting hard when taking the meds and even still when they stop.
Not a risk id take, but plenty of people take the stuff and are just fine too.

Maybe an increase in protein would help? Have also heard of biotin but in all honesty I doubt it would make much of a difference. If there was a supplement or particular food that increased hair thickness it would long have been found by now.

I did at one point consider finasteride, even got a private prescription for it from my GP. But changed my mind as I thought I'd be able to live with a somewhat reduced libido but there is a small chance of mental side effects such as low mood and depression (even suicide). In my opinion anything that alters the hormonal processes of the body should be avoided if possible. But as someone above said, many many people take it without side effects.

Get some Biotin supplements...the higher strength ones from Ebay not the high street ones. I've noticed this also helps nail growth.

I tried Finasteride and it definitely affected things down below.

Biotin tablets and maybe some Indian Ayurvedic hair oil/shampoos may work.

There's also micro needling which people seem to have really good results with, it's basically tiny little pin pricks that boost collagen in your face but apparently works good for hair growth if used on your head studies have shown.
Lots of vids on YouTube on it but not sure how much of an aversion to needles you have.

Possibly not what you want to hear, but as a bald 40something whose self confidence was absolutely destroyed between 20-30 by thinning hair, can I just say: no, there isn't (aside from the aforementioned expensive and possibly ED inducing drugs). The ONLY 'cure' is acceptance - and it really is a decent cure. smile
