I had my flu jab yesterday and one of the questions asked was "am i allergic to egg"?
This got me thinking, i then asked the jabber person "what if i was a vegan, should i refuse this jab?" he laughed and said this could be a testing moment for vegans.

So just to let any vegans out there know, there is egg in the flu jab juice?

I wondered why there was a scramble for the jab.

According the NHS there are egg free flu vaccines available: ‘ there are different types, including low-egg and egg-free ones’

They can still use the vaccines made using eggs, there are no contra-indications recorded for being vegan

But what about their practice of abstaining from the use of animal products.

I hope the jabber person was experienced, otherwise they would be a Jabber-Rookie.

Does that include blood transfusions?

What of it? It’s a silly affectation, not a law of physics.

Eggs are a natural byproduct of chickens so it's a bit odd vegans are anti-egg

Male chicks who are born into the egg business are immediately fed into a shredder, mountains of them. Eggs production must propagate more pointless killing than any other area of food production.

I think they're working on sexing eggs so no males are hatched but it's not there yet.

And how many aphids, arachnids and small mammals do you think die in the production of vegans’ grains?

Vegans have no problem at all killing animals, they just place the line of which ones they’ll kill slightly differently to normal people.

I agree and one day we'll come to understand that plants feel pain and communicate to eachother. They just can't run away when you come to cut them down or dig them up. Everything fights to live, even a plant. We already know that trees communicate via fungi root systems and exchange supplies.

It's okay as they don't class humans as animals.
