I've got a wobbly metatarsal

I've been having some pain in the top of my foot. My physio had a look yesterday and showed me that one of my metatarsals was sticking up at one end. He managed to manipulate it back in, but it took twenty minutes of hard work. Hopefully it will stay where it is, but if it shifts again are there surgical options to fix it in place?
