Which covid test after contact with covid positive person?
Discussion
So,
a friend i sat on the car with for a few hours has lost sense of taste and tested positive using a home lateral test.
I don't use phs ap. No ping, etc.
I am double jabbed.
Do i need to get a per test or just a lateral flow test?
Friend hasn't had per text, but losing taste, cold symptoms and pos lateral flow.
Thanks.

I'd take a lat flow test now, see what that returns. If you're double-jabbed then technically you don't need to isolate unless you start showing symptoms yourself. If the LFT is negative, I would do another one over the next couple of days and see what happens from there, depending on the test outcome.

As you can spread it as much as someone who isn’t injected, you’re best to go through the usual procedures. So LFT, then PCR at a test centre to confirm if it comes back positive (easy to book on the phone). Obviously if you have any symptoms, just stay at home to be on the safe side.
