so I reluctantly agreed to go with a friend tomorrow to see a new bond film .
I’ve looked on the cinema website and there taking hardly any precautions with covid and I imagine the place will be booked up.(currentley 60% booked )I have not had any vaccines for my own reasons but I’m worried about this (even with a mask on for 3hrs it seems an unnecessary risk)
It’s difficult to cancel unless I’m not feeling good with another migraine.
I wasn’t even that keen on seeing the film anyway.

Do you feel safe in a pub or restaurant?

If so why will it be any different in a cinema. There will be aircon on so air circulating. If you have food , sweets or a drink you dont have to wear a mask whilst eating or drinking.

If your scared to go out at this stage of the pandemic you may as well never go out ever again.

Would getting jabbed make you more confident about going out?

I’ve been out a few times yes in similar places but didn’t feel that safe .my luck someone might just start coughing sitting behind.

If only there was a readily available vaccine to prevent you from getting seriously ill with this virus that would let you get on with your life. scratchchin

COVID is not going to go away so you either stay in your house forever, live with the risk, or get vaccinated. Your choice.

I’m sure you’ll be fine mate. Are you obese/elderly/have a serious underlying condition? If not it’s only the cinema, it’s no time to die.

Ignore all the above, if you do decide to go to the cinema - make sure you have enough petrol, for some people the world (eg 7/8ths of a tank) is not enough and there is no time to panic buy, but be careful you dont get any on your hands, you could end up with fuel finger ( the man with the octane touch)
