Probably other similar threads but figured I’d start a fresh one.

My wife is 18 months in and her symptoms don’t seem to be improving .

She has raging heart beats which we are currently getting looked into via a private cardiologist who says in his opinion she’s in no immediate danger but clearly it’s not right.
All time high so far is 205BPM whilst walking.

Aside from this she has brain fog , short term memory loss and huge fatigue as a result of waking up during the night with pounding heart.

Since joining various support groups it seems this affects more women than men so I’m interested to hear if other PH members are going through the same issues either themselves or at home with their partners.

I’ve got home before now at 6pm and she’s asleep . She often says she gets the feeling her head is to heavy for her body and is dizzy at the same time.

The breathlessness seems to have improved which is the one plus but it’s still there occasionally.

There doesn’t seem a one size fits all fix , rather try anything and see if it sticks although even that at times has a very short term positive effect.

If she’s out driving she will have a car full of sweets to keep her from feeling exhausted and tired.

Some mornings I wake up and she’s in the spare room as the heart beats have woken her up so I know that day she’ll be exhausted all day.

Obviously as a family we are all playing our part to help her.

Any similar experiences might help us to understand how to try and deal with this.

Tks in advance

Just to add - I appreciate this subject is a well trodden path but 18 months on we seem no further forward
