Had mine yesterday at 2pm, slept quite badly and feeling pretty rough today. Hard to say exactly how I'm feeling, bit sluggish, achy, slight headache, generally not on good form.

Apparently second jab can do this (first was fine!). Anyone had similar and able to say how long it lasted? I'm hoping a day or two??

My first jab made me feel unwell for the first night and have a sore arm for a week.
The second jab I wouldnt have even noticed if the nurse didnt tape a cotton wool ball to my arm and tell me it was all done. No ill effects at all after that.

Hmmm, guess we're all different then, so no one will be able to know for sure. My arm did hurt on the first one, and also hurts with this one along with feeling generally URGH.

I’m having some tests done to see if it’s something unrelated, but as it stands, over 3 months.

Had my 2nd Pfizer vaccine in early June. Had 2 days of feeling really st, and a week of just generally feeling ‘off it’.

Since then I’ve just not been right - in April I FTP’d at 259 watts (20 minute all out effort on the bike), and across may I was regularly PB’ing on all time intervals, including 254 watts for 30 mins.

I’m now struggling to average 200 watts for 30 mins, and anything longer than 30 mins is even worse. My ave heart rate at threshold power output has increased >10bpm.

My measurable fitness has declined c.20%. Im sleeping 8 hours a night and I’m still knackered all the time.

I’ve tried changing my diet, and reduced my alcohol consumption by >50%… no improvement.

I’m hoping something pops up on the blood tests to explain it - ECG was clean.

Guess we really are all different…
1st jab - No side effects
2nd jab - No side effects
3rd jab - no side effects…

1st was outside the Uk, 2nd and 3rd in the uk.

Clearly no rhyme or reason here then

My best mate just had his second and popped round my place to see what state I'm in to see what he might have to prepare for haha

I had similar following my first jab in February. Seven months later, today was the first time I've managed to surpass 90% of my pre-jab running performance, and absolutely killed me to do it.

First jab had me dead in bed for 3 days, first day had a cough so bad that my lungs hurt, just felt like I had the flu. Second jab had zero side effects at all.

I was the same as the OP. Had a sore injection site for a week after the first jab.
Had the second, went to bed later after forgetting about it. Woke up around 1am, shivering and feeling very ill. Struggled to get up to use the toilet, got back in bed and was freezing. Mrs F said the bed was shaking, it was that bad.
Both AZ.

Had the next day off work, got up about 11am, was ok by 2-3pm.

No effects at all after either jab, other than a slight dull ache of the arm.

We all experience these things differently, same with colds, flu etc.

Ok here's hoping this is my outcome, I'm hosting a load of clients at lunch tomorrow, last thing I feel like doing right now!

Pfizer here, both jabs done 8 weeks apart. First one I had pins and needles in my hand within seconds of having the jab (but in the opposite arm?!) and starting from one hour later just felt knackered and had a minor headache. Took some tablets and had a 3-4hr nap and felt okay afterwards then totally normal the next day. Second jab had at noon time, near on the same again except I didn't have time for a nap as was too busy. Headache was a lot stronger but I kept on busying myself with jobs around the house. Felt 90% normal by 8/9pm and totally normal the following day. Jabbed arm was a bit more achy the second time around, maybe 3 days it was noticeable for.

Think I had a small headache and my arm ached for a few days. Other than that all good.

Friends at work were sick and had flu like symptoms for a couple of days.

Just be aware of worsening symptoms. Guy at work had his second Pfizer jab and is currently signed off indefinitely with myocarditis. Currently unable to really leave the house without having to sleep it off for several hours.

I'm certainly not anti vax but something to be aware of.

There was a big threat with jab symptoms: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

I was a bit under the weather for about a day on both 1st and 2nd jabs

The jab is several hundred times safer than coronavirus.

I’ve been like you, earlier in the year I was exercising regularly and improving my fitness and feeling good. Not long after having my first jab I lost most of my energy and could barely do any exercise, lethargic at work, grumpy and at night my resting heart rate increased and I could feel my heart beating.

I hadn’t really thought that it could be the vaccine that caused it, my thinking was that it was hay fever even though I haven’t suffered with it previously.

Like you, I’m trying to get to the bottom of it because I just don’t feel right. Had my second jab yesterday and feel rubbish today.

Had first Jab in Feb, no after effects, no sore arm, etc. Second one 12 weeks later bit of a tender arm for a day or so, no other side effects. Waiting for my booster and flue jab now. smile

I’m hoping to get confirmation my test results are back on Friday. If they are back I can just turn up and see my doctor without an appointment… no 3 week wait for an appointment here in Spain.

I’ve already had a look at the ECG and all the measures are good (from what I’ve googled biggrin), but I’m not a cardiologist, so the doctor may spot something.

I’ll let you know if anything pops.
