After a 4-5 mile walk my fingertips and cuticles are whitish and my fingers seem a tad chubbier and stiffer.

Is that just a consequence of having your arms swinging for two hours or should I enquire about a Funeral Plan ?

Probably something to do with having copper tits!

But it may also be a circulation thing. That's a guess.

Do you have history of working with powered hand tools - especially those that vibrate a lot.
Could be Vibration White Finger

Which is, as suggested above, a circulation thing.

Circulation and dehydration.

Get your arms horizontal and drink some water. You'll be fine.

Raynaud's is normally triggered by cold. Poor circulation after a 4-5 mile walk in summer temperatures seems very odd. I'd get it looked at.
