Been addictive to xanax for a couple of years now but have reduced to micro dose (0.25) in the morning to get me through the day. Next week starting a new job so very stressful and won't have any. Any good natural alternatives? Considering citroplam ssri

Your best bet for a natural alternative is valerian root extract.

Have you considered some form of cardio based exercise instead....really can work wonders

Yes but I find if I'm not pushing myself to the limit for an intense work out I don't get the same feel good feelings.

One of the worst withdrawals of any GABA drug ever. I've been addicted to most of them and phenibut is the only one I wouldn't do again.

10, 15g a day by the time I decided to quit. Far worse than a major benzo habit withdrawal was. So I moved on to more addictive and harmful drugs instead, and look at me now! biggrin
Sure, the stuff can be used responsibly, but so can benzos. And barbiturates. And methaphetamine. And pretty much any drug.
But a guy trying to get off a benzo habit probably shouldn't substitute another addictive substance.

To be fair, that's a hell of a lot and if you're taking it every day I'm not surprised you got terrible withdrawal.

When I've taken it, the most I had was 2g and never got any side effects really. But if you've a really addictive personality I can see why it'd be one to avoid. But for the odd bit here and there, I think it's fine.

Better would be weights. But you need to push to get the endorphin rush. But yeah, any exercise is good for getting off tranq/narcotic habit.

Can I just be the first to advise your gp or a drug addiction service?!

Theres lots of alternative therapies for anxiety but tbh your addiction and use will likely be contributing to some extent.
