Reading Glasses make colours washy
Discussion
The joys of getting old, I have a prescription for reading glasses that I've had a couple of month now. I'm wearing them more and more, but one this that's bugging me is that when I wear them they seem to wash out colours and they're no longer as bright. A prime example is when looking at black, it's no longer black black, but rather a grey.
I got the glasses from Specsavers, and they were not really that expensive.
Is this normal, or is it just down to cheap glasses? Would better lenses help retain colour depth?
