Experiences of tattoo removal

I know there are threads about tattoo removal already, but they're quite old now and I wanted to ask if anybody had real recent experience of having a tattoo laser removed and the results that they achieved.

I'm keen to have my two rubbish tattoos removed but I really don't want to go through it all if i'm going to end up with just two really faded rubbish tattoos... I realise it takes a long time and many sessions with long breaks in between, that I don't have a problem with, as long as they're actually gone in the end.

Both of mine are entirely black ink and approximately 20 years old, the larger of the two is maybe 10cm x 7cm and the other 7cm x 7cm.

So has anybody had a tattoo removed and if so did it completely get rid of it?
