Sounds like your hair has just evolved rapidly to deal with COVID restrictions!

Why worry about it? Worrying won't change facts.

I'm unlikely to ever go bald as it's not a family trait, however I generally sport a no2 cut anyway.
Noo one cares these days, better to be bald and close cropped than to have a comb over, a 1970s grandpa halo, or some dodgy hair transplant.

My hair is greyer than ever.. grows faster round the sides and back than it does on top... That's life..! smile
Hence a No1 every five weeks or so...!

Mine went on top in my 20s so just stick to a number one allover. It's certainly better than a comb over.

Never worried about it though. My barber did say that your hair starts doing weird things as you get older, on the bits that still grow, they grow twice as fast as they did in my youth.

Now don't get me started on ear and nostril hair....

They all seem to wear full lycra these days which will negate the aerodynamic effects. Must be for the weight saving wink

What a waste of time, I mean how much faster are you going to go? If you're out riding as a hobby then why bother? It just seems weird to me.

Don't worry about it, what will be will be. I'd be more worried if I had ever thought a Steven Segal pony tail was fashionablesmile

Has the the growth rate got anything do with losing hair? Either it's there, or not.

Surely,

Less hair = accept you are losing it.

Slower growth = there will be some explanation for it. Cycle of growth and what not.

Don't worry too much, your nose & ear hair is starting to grow faster to make up for it.
Trust me that will irritate more than a lack of hair on top.

Easiest way is to get Minoxidil topical foam. Pretty cheap. Mild to moderate improvements reported in a lot of a folk, it won't hold back the tide though.

You can get Finasteride to prevent hair loss as well. It's a medicine that reduces your levels of the hormone dihydrotestosterone (not to be confused with Testosterone) and allegedly it can stop hair loss dead. Do tread carefully with this one though, as there's quite a few side effects reported and some of them are pretty scary.

Then there's surgery of course. Or some sort of weird head tattoo (google it).

I guess it just depends on how important it is to you, for me I just replaced my hair product with Minoxidil, it's fairly cheap, I've had no side effects and I think there's a mild improvement. I won't be doing anything else.

Less painful road rash when you fall off, apparently.
