Smile Direct Club - any experiences?

Anybody ever gone through this company for clear aligners? Roughly £1,600 for 7-8 months worth of alignment, much cheaper than Invisalign but I understand you get what you pay for, and teeth ain't cheap. I would like some straightening done for my lower teeth and some minor adjustments to the top. Such a mixed bag of reviews - seems to be very much case by case basis and what you're expectations are.

Avoid like the plague?
