I’ve got an appointment to have my first vaccine jab on Tuesday at 8am. Wednesday at 07:30 I’m going into hospital for laser lithotripsy (kidney stone).
Do you think it’s wise to cancel to vaccine or carry on regardless?

I'd cancel. The day after my jab I felt really rubbish & spent the day on the settee; I was fine next day though.

I had this two weeks ago and the hospital postponed my operation by a week when I told them as they said the jab was priority.

Ask the hospital admissions people.

However, as I assume as you've only been invited now that you're not old or particularly at risk, Covid rates are generally low and it's easier to rearrange the jab I'd move the jab. Plus, by all accounts, kidney stones are sodding horrid!
