I'm after some opinions please....

I'm male, 46, in good health with regular work medicals. No need for doctors in many years.

Yesterday I got invited to arrange my appointment for my Covid first injection. Imagine my surprise as I thought it would really late into the year.

My wife, a few doctor visits over the years, 18 months older than me hasn't got the invite.

My parents died 12 and 22 years ago respectively. Could it be linked to this??

I'm in North West Sheffield if that helps.....

I believe they are now doing 16-65 year olds with underlaying medical issues. Such as being obese, Rheumatoid Arthritis, being on Immunosuppressant etc and a few others.

Strange though. I know a lot of people who should have been called up who haven't.

Could just be a mistake. There was a guy tonight on Radio 4 wondering we he had been offered a vaccination; he rung his GP and was told he had underlying health issues. What are they he said? You are obese was the slightly awkward reply.

No I am not he says at which point they look up his records and find that he is apparently 6.2 cm tall. Yes 6 point 2. And 17 stone.
Laughter all around.
