Hello all. Years ago I broke a couple of bones in my hand, had it sorted and for years has been fine up until this weekend.
I can feel crunching and clicking in my palm and it hurts to grip things with a bit of weight to it. My knuckles are swollen also.
Question is can they just magically break again by themselves? I haven’t knocked or banged it. I’m guessing it was a bit of a weak fix, just trying to save myself a trip to A&E with what’s going on at the minute, but if needs must.....
Thankyou

You need an xray, everything else is guesswork I'm afraid.

If it can wait, ask your GP. If it can't, A&E.

Call 101, they are well equipped to advise, having had far more serious hand injury, I would push for an X-Ray/scan to check what is going on.

Yes bones can break again, but could also be ligaments, arthritis.
