Slightly 'not-council' reading specs - where to buy?
Discussion
Getting old and now need glasses to read (1.5-2.0 strength).
So far, I've been making do with the cheap £2-5 efforts that you buy at Boots/Tesco/etc. That way I can leave a pair in each car, and a pair upstairs and downstairs and another in the office. But they do scratch a bit easily and the materials/coatins seem prone to flare, etc.
What's the next step up? (Without going crazy). Is there a good online retailer. I'm not a fashionable fella, so I don't need lots of design choice.
I'd be happy to spend £40 or so on specs that i use during the day.
