Skipping rope recommendation.
Discussion
My children are struggling to get enough exercise during lockdown. We've got a rower and we walk when we can, but I want to try them with skipping.
Ebay and Amazon is stuffed with them, but I imagine some are next to useless.
Can anyone suggest one that is not expensive but not going to put them off please.
I'll be interested to see what other people think but personally I wouldn't spend more than about a fiver on one. I've got 6 including "speed ropes" that I use and the cheapest one is just as good as the ones that were £10-20. My daughter (14) prefers her weighted hulahoop - that thing is brutal
ETA: Something like this -
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Syolee-Skipping-Lightweig...
Just make sure you adjust it so the handles reach the armpits when you're stood on the rope.

I am NOT buying a hulahoop. The indignity of a middle-aged man hulahooping is not something from which I could recover. I've tried a couple from amazon and this one is the best of the few sub £10 ropes I've had: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B087BJFSJT/ref...
