This seems to be the goto supplement at the moment but from what I have read and investigated, albeit briefly, there doesn’t seem to be much point?
I have seen talk of a form of detox but as far as I know, the best detox is to cut out all the unhealthy stuff.
Does anyone take any supplements that they feel are beneficial?

Also been taking (and growing my own) milk thistle for years. It's one of those supplements that you probably wouldn't notice any difference if you stopped taking it but it's benefits are mostly internal.
Milk thistle has been the subject of a lot of studies over the years and there is evidence that it can be beneficial for liver repair/protection. By itself though the benefits are probably minimal (not being able to see or test my liver myself I don't really know) but a detox is probably more effective using a suite of detox supplements (along with healthy lifestyle!).

Cheers guys,
I guess I may have not read the benefits properly!
Out of interest, once you have grown and 'harvested' it, do you make a drink from it?
I can't imagine it tastes that good?
I only use the seeds but maybe other parts of the plant can also be used with added faff (distilling etc). I either grind them up and add to food/drink or just eat them raw.I guess I may have not read the benefits properly!

I also use NAC amongst other things, but you could also consider SAM-e, glutathione, artichoke and dandelion. Lemon juice in water is possibly one of the cheapest and easiest things to include in a detox. I use bottles of conc juice rather than fresh for convenience.
Just had a read of NAC and it does appear to be quite a good supplement, although I do eat a reasonable amount of chicken, cheese eggs etc.
With that in mind, I guess it’s either eat way more chicken, or take the supplement?
Just given up smoking so would like to give me body a bit of a chance/boost
