A few days ago I went for a massage at Bannatynes. Came home had a shower and my thighs were burning didn’t think much of it but since then I’ve developed red bumps and pus pimples which are tender at my hair follicles - I presume this is some kind of skin infection. Is this something that will go away itself or should I be seeing my GP?

Sounds like it. I get the same if my clothes are washing in biological detergent, which the wife still sometimes buys when she is having a blond moment.

I used some new shampoo for the dog bath a couple of weeks ago.

He was OK, but my hands went red and so did my face (he shakes himself dry)

It felt like bad sun burn. Using some E45 cream, and starting to settle down now, but being careful, some things seem to aggregate it.

Yes it could be reaction to the oil they use. Had a pretty painful night so had a phone consultation with my GP this morning. Apparently it’s a case of bacterial folliculitis so been prescribed fusidic acid cream and if that doesn’t work then I’ll need a weeks dose of oral antibiotics.
