My forehead has had some strange changes over the last few months, almost like veins under the skin showing, burning and tightness feeling.
Doctor seems to think its normal, seen a dermatologist, she thought it was normal...
I know my own face and it isn't normal for me.
The last few months I've had the most anxiety and stress iv ever had in my life and wondering if it could be down to that.

If so, did you manage to reverse it?..

Anxiety can have a huge impact on your skin, they can include Rash,Red blotches.and Eczema.

Until you get a handle on your anxiety none of the physical symptoms will disappear.

This was me last year, I started getting eczema on my scalp and got a stye for the first time ever. It was only later on that I realized these were all physical symptoms of the anxiety and stress I was suffering from.

Luckily I was able to change my role at work which has reduced the stress levels and the physical symptoms have since cleared up.

A dermatologist thinks not. Any reason you think it is?

Purely the description of the veining. It could still be very mild.

Yep, dermatitis on my hands, I've not had it bad for a few years now but by god when my dad died, coming up 6 years now and the resulting issues and eventual fall out with his widow (not my mum), my hands were horrendous.

That's usually around the nose and cheeks, I have suffered from it and it's probably a combination of stress and certain foods.

Certainly I think stress can cause all sorts of odd problems like that and what the OP describes.

I mean, I think a dermatologist who has seen the affected skin would probably know.

The only other symptom other than the tightness is sometimes a tingling feeling in my head when in bed on a night, that seems to come and go depending on how anxious I'm feeling...

This is how i have felt for the last six months, tingling head, some tightness around the head, also my Tinnitus seems to have got slightly more noticeable, so sleeping becomes a problem, i'v put it down to stress and anxiety
