Since having my post lockdown haircut iv noticed a little dent on the top right of my head that sort of curves round and forms a line down the middle of my head towards forehead.
I know it sounds silly but iv never noticed it before however I don't often have my hair short.
I was 6 weeks premature and was a difficult birth, I also fell down the stairs very young and banged my head.
The dent is only very slight
Is this normal? Anyone else have similar?...

Do you mean like these lines in the skull? It's normal.
I have them on each side, can't see he indentation, but can be felt if i run a finger from front to back, on the side of my head.

I've not got a dent but I have got a 'groove' that goes from my forehead, up to my hairline and to the side of my head. I assume it's just a natural oddity but it's odd as it lines up perfectly with a small scar I've got on my forehead from crawling in to a door frame at great speed when I was at peak crawling speed age.

Coincidentally enough, I typically don't have my hair short, got a haircut and noticed this too. A bit strange hehe

I have one too, just right of the centre line. Maybe I'm splitting in two yikes

Now this is strange...
I've got more or less the same dent and groove almost symmetrical on the other side of my head....?

I hate being a hypochondriac at times..

I have a ridge that goes from inside edge of right eyebrow up to hairline on the right of my forehead and then follows it round for a bit, nothing on left side.

Well ridges seem common which is good as I've got a few of them.
I imagine anything serious would of brought other symptoms...

I have a depressed area on my skull, starts about 8cm back from my hairline & is approx 5cm in diameter. I'm told it is where I had an oedema as a baby.

The seam on the scrotum usually prevents that hehe

I used to shave my head many years ago and I'm sure I had a number of parallel grooves/lines running front to back along the top of my skull, maybe 3 or 4, that aren't visible now I've got hair

I'm tempted to shave my head again now to see if I'm misremembering it or not.

I've now also noticed a dent horizontally on the middle of my forhead in certain light...
Where my wrinkles are when I raise my eyebrows, the dent shows all the time though.
Is it worth getting checked out or have I always had it and not noticed?...

I'm honestly consumed with anxiety over this.

Can you tell me more about this? I am very worried. I discovered a groove from the inner area of my left eyebrow that goes diagonally up to my hairline and curves a touch; is that what you have? You can't see mine, you need to feel it and it feels like a boney groove.

I would really love to chat to some of you chaps about this because I am feeling scared.
