This is an open and unbiased question first and foremost. After all we all enjoy various ills beit drink, smoke or drug (prescription or unprescribed).

We've all seen Scarface, the end scene and the connotations of high class use.

For those that take it what does it do for you?
Why is better than drinking?

What are the health risks exactly? I hear mixing drink and partaking messes the heart up. How much of this is true?

Does it effect driving, can you work on it? Does it have any effects on mental health?
Is it possible to keep it in moderation?

I know little about it apart from where it comes from and I'm interested to learn more.

There is only one way to find out how it effects you personally.

Any chance you could all check the meanings of "affect" and "effect" before we go much further?

Its best avoided in my experience. Yes you can work on it, but i wouldnt advise it, particularly if you like your job! Allegedly its one of the easier class A's to drive on, again though, not advisable! Alot of people use it on drinking sessions to keep going longer, and basically keep talking st longer. Ive known too many people really fk their lives up with it, so while some people are fine taking it from time to time its 100% not worth the risk of finding out if you are one of those people. In short, i would leave it well alone

Ta. Just had a read of this

https://academic.oup.com/omcr/article/2017/10/omx0... and the case report. Interesting reading.

I've no interest in trying it but due to the job I do and my natural curiosity I always like to find out more.

No I'm not judgemental.

Out of interest, what job is it that you do?

I would image, like smoking it's lovely.

I've smoked and it's great.

But I'm pretty content with booze and the occasional ciggie.

Bet it's lovely, and bet it's trouble like the cigs

It's pretty nasty stuff that people struggle to stay away from once they get a taste for it.

It really does work shockingly well as a drinking aid. People can drink several pints then have some chang and just keep drinking without falling over and passing out.

As another member has touched on above, not many people in the UK will be able to tell you about how good actual coke is, because the coke in the UK is st.

To give you an idea most coke in the UK is probably about 25% coke (max) and the rest of it is made up with amphet (which is what makes users gurn), talcum powder, and a load of other st that the people that buy and resell it can get their hands on.

Also remember most coke you take in the UK has been transported up someone’s ahole.

So

I think more likely in a shipping container.
