I managed to trip last night and catch my foot under the sofa!

My foot made quite a “crack”

My little toe is now incredibly painful and gone a bit purple...

I am having to limp a bit which is not very practical..

Do we think i have broken my little toe?

If so will it mend itself on its own?
And how long should this take?

Cheers

Can we talk about what's going on with the two in the middle instead?

They're fine - they match the two we can't see.

But seriously - if you're toe hurts like buggery be it bruised/broken - there is not alot they can do about it tbh. So start necking Ibuprofen, and keep the photos coming as the bruise develops.

I'm not doctor but I have broken toes on multiple occasions, and that looks very much like a broken toe.

The first few times I went to casualty and they X-rayed it to check I hadn't done any other damage and then strapped it up. For the little toe they'll likely tape it to the next toe with a bit of gauze in between, and tell you to take paracetamol.

The most recent one I skipped the hospital part and immobilised it myself. Two weeks of that and it should be OK.

Identical bruising pattern to when I broke my toe.
