Something wrong with my nose - cold related?

A bit gross...but, for at least over a month now I have had cold like symptoms (snuffling, occasional sore throat, sneezing, a lot of mucus build up) but most recently I have had significant mucus build ups in my nose, accompanied by dry blood.

My nostrils will tend to go very dry and sore, a layer of crap will build up and harden and if I twitch my nose it will crack and I will start bleeding.

The other day I blew my nose and it started dripping with blood!

Now I no the nostril membranes are delicate but this seems a bit weird. Basically, it won't seem to heal / pass....

...do I have some life-threatening nose-eating disease?

Or am I just a bit gross?

I experienced those symptons when I had a sinus infection. Required antibiotics to cure.

Yeah, I had something similar earlier this year.

Doctor diagnosed a nasal infection, sorted with antibiotic cream in a few days.

Prob Staph infection, need some cream from the Drs
