Losing Weight/Toning Abs.
Discussion
About 4/5 months ago I started getting healthy, because despite not being really overweight (6'3" 14 stone) I wasn't happy with the layer of fat over my stomach (vain I know!). Anyway, cut out all the crisps and chocolate, started eating a healthy breakfast and going to the gym (or for a run) 4 times a week. Four months later, I'm now nearly 15 stone!! I'd understand if I was weight training, but apart from a few reps on my arms when I go to the gym, I'm not doing any! My gym session is a 15 minute jog, followed by a 1k row, 75 situps (3x25) and some reps on my biceps. Total calories burned on the jog/row is 400 calories, and I'd say I'm taking in about 2000 calories per day (also concious to eat/buy low fat food).
So any ideas?! My image has improved, but for 4/5 months hard work and healthy eating I would have hoped for more - also my weight going up confuses me as I've definitely improved my stomach!

1.You need a proper diet.So any ideas?! My image has improved, but for 4/5 months hard work and healthy eating I would have hoped for more - also my weight going up confuses me as I've definitely improved my stomach!

2.400 cals is a tad optimistic for short jog and row.
3.3 x 25 situps will not improve your abs.
4.If you want to see the weight fall off you should run at least 3 times a week
5.If you want to 'see' your abs you'll have to make them grow first, which means short sets of heavyish weights.
6.Your weight's going up because your body is used to the exercise.Change it.Also see point #1
7.Good luck.
