Several friends shower before they go to bed and then go straight out to work in the morning, this seemed strange to me as you spend all night sweating and stuff? When do you shower?

Morning and/or after going for a run.

In the summer (if its hot that is), i'll normally shower before I go to work and a cold shower before I go to bed, the rest of the time will be before work, and again if I am going out for the evening.

Every morning. Sometimes after a hot sticky summer day to freshen up before bed.

And then of course when required, after a bike ride, after sweaty work, generally when a bit grubby.

Showering before bed then straight out to work does indeed seem to defy the object.

Before bed usually, although I will shower in the morning if it's been a warm night/muggy night.

Everymorning.

The showering prior to sleep is peculiar especially if this is not supplemented with another shower in the morning.

Shower in the morning, and after gym- long hair means wet pillows at night, plus I'd look like wurzel-gummage if I didn't wash my hair before work

Morning and evening.

If I HAD to chose,I'd have the morning one,I CANNOT leave the house in the morning (except if going for a jog or to the gym) without showering.

I really really struggle to rise in the morning (hoi! quiet in the back!) so usually its a shower before bed for me.

I like to think i keep ontop of it ok though, bed sheets changed every friday.

plus its only me that sleeps in the bed! biggrin

Morning for me without fail, and some evenings if I'm feeling a bit grubby. I go to the gym in the mornings before work, so tend to shower there.

So you're one of those stinky fkers who doesn't deign to wash before going close to other people thus leaving a stench around whatever equipment you've been on? yuck

There was one guy who stank at the local climbing wall - I guess he also thought "What's the point in washing if I'm going to sweat." He stank the whole room out.

biggrin Nah,at the gym I go to we have to wear clothes.

Plus I find that a shower after gym rather than before yields best results!

It's the hum you leave behind you. There was a guy at a place I once worked and you could tell which offices he'd been in from the hum.

I'd suggest the guy at your gym had some kind of other issue - either not showering daily (after his session) or a bacterial issue. Not showering before the gym, if you've showered in the preceeding 24 hours isn't going to stink the room out like a tramp. Otherwise all of our houses would smell like a hobos armpit.

Shower in the morning, bath at night, and shower twice at the gym (once before going in the pool after a work out, and upon leaving the pool).

Shower every morning, after every training session/game and before going out for an evening. So 1-2 showers per day depending on what's going on. Couldn't do without the morning shower though. Even with a shower at 10pm the night before I feel sweaty and gross in the morning.

Depends.

If I have to be on the road at ohmygod'clock in the morning I'll shower the night before, so I can be up and out the house as quick as possible. Otherwise in the morning.

True. I suspect it's a combination of not washing and not wearing deodorant.
