Since the heat has been increased Im now finding that the sweating is horrible, putting on a shirt and sweating so much its drenched by the time I get to work.... not nice!!

But it doesnt happen all the time just sometimes and it seems that cooling down at night is not working either and its keeping me awake... so far today its a case of needing 3 showers today to cool off and its not working.

I cant see any patterns in it, its not due to alcohol sweats or something else as i havent really drank at all for a week or so, been to the docs and he reckons its due to being run down from over work, so will cut back a bit but it is getting annoying.

Help...

There is a condition called hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating), but this happpens at all temperatures, not the 25-30 degrees of late (14 degrees up here in Scotland). If the temp gets above about 25-30, then I'm like you, it takes me ages to cool down. There is a product called odaban that blocks the pores. It works, but I found if I used it under the arms and my chest/back, that other areas compensate.

When it gets hot, I go to work early when its cooler and where I can get a seat on the train nearer the air conditioning. I leave plenty of time when going to meetings at other offices so I've cooled down before they start.

I enjoy the sunny weather (3 days in 9 weeks up here).
