Just a bit of an update, thankfully still not needed any painkillers and as the soreness (mostly from the incision at the belly button) gets less everyday I doubt I will need any

The boredom is the worst part, going for a walk breaks up the routine but not being able to drive until Mon/Tues can't come soon enough!
Glad you're recovering well! And quickly!

I was told two weeks no driving (due to seatbelt damage, muscle damage and not being able to do an emergency stop without causing grief like potentially popping off a clip)
Four weeks no work (in reality I'm off for the weeks and working one week from home)
Four weeks to lift nothing heavier than a kettle of water (this is the hardest part! Can't take the bins out, mow the lawn, work on cars, full laundry basket etc)

In reality they were probably being cautious but it's better to be safe than sorry I guess. My two lower incisions have almost entirely healed up now. My upper two are still on the mend.
