I know I'm not being as good as I should, but exercising well and a teeny loss this week 0.3kg, but the small losses add up (slowly!).

Couple of lads at work doing remarkably well and they, along with this thread, are just about keeping me on board.

Some great results on the thread, hope it motivates a few more of us!

Nothing. Which I suppose is better than a gain. Week was going well, but the masked slipped a little (/lot!) yesterday.

Still some great results folks - even if diminishing participants as usual (and I never got round to sending nudges - feel free if anyone has time - just say that you will/have).

I'm writing this down on the off-chance it gives me a wake up call, but I'm in full-blown meltdown at the moment. I suppose binge eating as a coping mechanism is better than ways I would have self-destructed in the past, but it's damaging for sure. Mrs 22 has some health stuff going on which has thankfully been stable for a couple of years, but is now accumulating fluid around her heart at a concerning rate. A Thoracic Radiologist added to the multidisciplinary team and waiting for next steps. Rubbish excuse, but flawed is my middle name.

Wiped my data and starting over. I'm heavier than Jan 1st.

Stressful few months with Mrs 22's health, but that's the new normal so I need to find something. Just back from holidays and a good time to draw a line under it.

I don't remember a time in my life when my relationship with food has been so bad.

Trying to get my act back together for this. Didn't update last week as 'enjoyed' the first period when your body dumps a load of weight retaining less water or whatever it does. This week, with another 1kg feels better if anything.

New smart watch (any excuse) so making this properly a data driven thing. Joined a competitive indoor rowing club to push my daily rowing to a better level. Signed up for a personal trainer. Back to FatClub weigh-ins on a Friday morning.

Slimming world (ish) diet with one treat/meltdown day a week - today! But my head is in a good place for a change.

A smidge over 1kg for the week again. Really pleased. Yesterday was the first day this week where I struggled a bit mentally, but got through without the diet falling apart.

Could never imagine myself being a customer of a personal trainer, but for now it's helping keep me focused.

Another 1kg, properly delighted. I'm not sure who this bloke is who's eating well, exercising and now has a personal trainer, but let's see how long he hangs about.

1.2kg for the week. I'm throwing the kitchen sink at this at the moment. Smartwatch has helped see small results quickly (resting heart rate etc ), personal trainer nearly kills me, but I'm properly onboard at the moment so long may it continue.

Done exactly what I know works and saw a 0.8kg loss. Taking some meds that really didn't agree with me for the first 48 hours and was really fatigued yesterday at the personal trainer, but decent exercise levels and kept my diet together.

Another 0.9kg and takes my loss to over 10kg since I wobbled back from my holidays at the end of July! And 10 (I think) consecutive weeks of weight loss. Pretty active; Walk ~15k daily, 10k rowing machine metres 6 times a week (and joined an indoor club/challenge through British Rowing), personal trainer twice a week.

My portion size is still something I need to address and I know it's considered a bad idea to lose weight this way, but it works for me. I'm heavy on the carbs and no/low fat (slimming world-ish), proper treat day once a week.

Have a funeral Tuesday and was really pleased to have lost a chunk when I was trying on suits last night! My daughter said I looked like James Bond! I guess if James Bond was bald and tubby, but it was a nice thing to hear.

There are so many ways to lose weight, you just have to find your way.

I didn't weigh this week as had hotel nights/meals, a funeral, a meal out with friends and the masked slipped considerably. First sensible day yesterday so hopefully getting my head back in the game. Will try and get close to the previous Friday weight by the end of the week.

Does someone set this up every year on here (same OP) or does someone need to take the intitiative?
I did it last year, but anyone can. Whoever does it, can copy the format (add/remove anything you like) then ask mods to make the wiki a sticky. The "make contact" column never really took off (mostly down to life getting in the way).

I'm so good at losing weight that I lost 10kg+ twice in the year - and it's all back on now (13kg in 8 weeks takes some doing!). Back from holiday yesterday so day 1 today for me and I need to take a long hard look at myself - preferably fully clothed! Rowing machine back in the office and entering the indoor rowing championships next year to give me a goal (I'm not too shabby for an old guy when not eating cake).
