The Sun used to be fainter in the past, which is possibly the reason life on Earth has only existed for about 1 billion years on land. The increase in solar temperatures is such that in about another billion years the surface of the Earth will likely become too hot for liquid water to exist, ending all terrestrial life.whistle

As a kind of newbie boater, I've been told by various people on the "cut" that this has been the worst winter in over 120 years. Summers are also ste. Bring on global warming, please... Running a 700 litre water tank dry in ice isn't funny - but a great way to introduce your OH to the idea of Le Mans!!!!
