Daughter is seventeen and got her first date tomorrow

Do I :-

1 Tell her go and enjoy
2 Tell her go but be careful ,never know what young boys are like
3 Insist I meet him first
4 Insist I meet him first and say hi I'm her dad how are you today ?
5 Insist I meet him first and frighten the sh.t out of him telling him you mess with her ,you got me to answer to !!!!
6 Leave her get on with it
7 Trust her

Look at it this way - at the moment she trusts you enough to tell you she's going on a first date, not saying she's out with friends. Don't do anything to break that trust. She trusts you, so you should trust her, assuming you think you've brought her up to be a sensible young woman.

I will be in a similar boat (albeit in seventeen years), 4 of my closest friends and I are having daughters within 2 months of each other. All of us have a pack that we will do this for the first dates!

Just make sure you help her through the pregnancy or chlamidiya or whatever else these youngsters are into.
