Sea Kayak Trip......

Right, here we go...........
I have a bee in my bonnet to do a charity sea kayak trip all the way up (or down) the Northumberland coat.

But, I've never done anything like that before.

I'm thinking we'll need shorty wet suits life vests etc.

However, living in Hertfordshire is not the best place to practice......

All/any help greatly appreciated............

Have you done ANY kayaking?

If not, you will need quite a bit of help and practice before hitting the sea! See if there is a local club?

Nope, NO kayaking at all !

I'm not planning on doing it next week.
Next year, or the year after is the plan.

There would appear to be experts for everything on PH so I assumed it was worth a punt......

I wouldn't dash out and buy a load of gear. Join a club and have a bash, borrow what you need until you get a feel for it. You may decide that although you enjoy kayaking, sea kayaking is not for you - who knows! Enjoy it though.
