Extracted from facebook , about 20 people have updated statuses quoting "woooooooow diversity" Diversity are the st" "diversity gets me vote"

So someone explain if its something that had nothing to do with local elections?

At a rough guess your friends have nothing of interest in their lives and so must put up random facebook comments.

I think you need to meet people who are much more interesting.

At first I thought it was racial acceptance. Eventually I found out its something to do with dancing and a program called British Talent?

Ah so I was right.

You need to find some friends with a mind of their own.

I was subjected to the last 4 minutes of this hideous village-talent-show-gone-national cat-st.

I saw a fat, drunk Scottish Jeremy Clarkson in a purple dress and a fairly crap dance troupe who my sister-in-law insisted were 'talented'.

Then I showed her this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ey8Ui63VgHs

Point made.

That'd be the point, then.

I assumed the link was intended to show some people with more talent than Diversity, not less wink

It's good, but it's still not 11 people dancing in time with each other in a fast, witty routine is it?

Love the program or hate it you cannot deny that some of the acts are good (as they should be with that many entries!)

Still wish I could break dance like that frown

Can we also send all boy band fans to Australia?

I did actually hear one of the people with talent on that show.

Was shown a clip of a guy playing Saxophone, that is talent.

I can't really compare that to people jiggling in time, then I found out it was a public vote. Ot has just proved what I have been telling people for years, the public are morons.

The first thing I thought of when I saw all the Diversity comments this morning was the Family Guy joke about finding diversity in the Abercrombie and Fitch catalogue hehe

The Britain's Got Talent show isn't really about who is the most talented in their chosen field though, it's about who's the most talented at entertaining people.

I agree the sax player was excellent, and as a lifetime music lover, I could listen to him all day, but I'm an easy target for a musician. On the other hand, I have no interest in dancing at all, and yet Diversity thoroughly entertained me while all the other dance acts on the show left me bored. I thought they were the best entertainers, on the night, and were deserving winners. IMO. I would love to know how close the voting was, though.

Is it really that difficult for some people to just admit "Hey, that was pretty fun and entertaining"?

I mean really, is it completely necessary to just hate on something and suddenly start linking to videos of other things?

Yes the breakdancers are good, but last I looked they hadn't entered Britains Got Talent so it's unlikely they'll fking win against Diversity is it?

Let's ignore the fact that we've got a group of taltented and seemingly well educated group of people of all age ranges doing something productive with their lives instead of robbing your house to fund their drug habits or stabbing each other to death and just knock them down a peg or two.

I'm sure those people here slagging them off are all happy to show the rest of us just how talented they are and what they can contribute in the name of entertainment?
