My electric pressure washer says to put 15w40 in, seeing as I have a surplus amount of 10w40 in the garage, will it make much of a difference if I pop that in instead of 15 ?

It'll be too thin, as at low temps such as in the pressure washer the first figure matters. So 15W50 or 15W30 would be OK, but not 10W40.

It's been a long day, but why would you need to put anything other than electricity and water into an electric pressure washer? confused

Its a kranzle hd pressure washer....

I don't know the relevance, it was built in 1986 and still runs like a charm biggrin

I don't see why you couldn't. It's not likely to be fussy about what oil it uses, I suspect it's going to be happy with any sort of oil of about the right grade.

Ah well bought some from GSF for 3.50!
