...when out with a woman!

I've arranged a 'date' with a laadeeee for the weekend but have just had the realisation that I have no idea what to do when out with the opposite sex.

Over the last year I have been single and just enjoying going out with mates and meeting 'birds' nothing arranged or serious. Before that I was with the same girl for 3 years and we never dated just met casually and got together. See here: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... for my opinions on dating.

Now I'm actually in the position were I have to be at a pre-determined place at an arranged time to meet a specific woman for the first time ever.

Gone for a country pub setting (as advised by PH), and managed to get a courtesy car from Audi so I don't have to drive my E30 drift car there (that would have taken some explaining). I was thinking wear Jeans and a shirt with decent non-sport trainers (I fking hate shoes).

So then advice please! I'm generally good with coversation 1 on 1 but this is a new situation for me the greeting/seating/goodbyes etiquette have thrown me.

No point being any thing other than yourself.

I prefer it when men make me laugh, but not trying to hard.

I find dates easy though as If it gets silent I know my fair share about football to pick up the conversation again haha

Yeah I should be fine with this it's all the other etiquette that I am lost on? On meeting do I go in for the cheek kiss? Do I kiss her goodbye? How do I broach the subject of a second meeting (if it goes well)?

It's a woman I'm dating so it's Vicky's perspective I need.

You should know when you see her...things like that should be natural, and certainly not planned.

As for the goodnight kiss....wait and see how the rest of the night goes. She'll make it clear if she likes you or not. If she's anything like me, I can't help but 'touch' someone am out on a date with, if I like them wink

And I mean hands, arms, thighs before you lot start!

And whats the first thing you say (even though it may not be true)?

"You like really nice" wink

It helps if you do a little whistle and a "woo hoo, meoow, ooggaaa, schwing" just to lighten the mood. laugh

If she reads PH then just treat her like crap, all girls like that. biglaugh

the fact that you're asking about it on here probably means you're thinking too much into it.

Be someone good with women. George Clooney maybe?

Or you could ask if she wants to share your Boddingtons beer in a Melanie Sykes style.
