What do you consider you're own life's little luxuries?
What do you deem as necessary that other would see as a luxury?
Say you had to move into a secluded house, to be spent 24/7 in, what would you're luxuries be, say 3 items?
Basic food and drink are available and toilet roll, toothbrush etc for basic human hygiene.

Interesting question. Well, for me at least.
Necessary that others deem luxury? Internet access. I'd go mad without it. Doesn't have to be broadband. It's my portal to the outside world as I work from home. A radio, too, as I also use it for company.
Three items for the big brother house? A radio, a big book, a piano. The other activities I enjoy, I could do in the house anyway... eg climbing, fitness training, martial arts.

secluded house would have to have a garden, a dog and a library. Roaring fire for cold weather would be nice.
I couldn't stand being cooped up all the time, but I enjoy my own company and don't think seclusion would send me too mad. (maybe coz I am already there).
In fact it sounds like heaven to me.

1. Computer with internet connection (capable of playing games and, ahem, downloading entertainment)What do you deem as necessary that other would see as a luxury?

2. TV with subscription to lots of interesting learning channels like History channel and Natural Georgraphic (well, I may as well do something productive with my time!)
3. Beer.
That's about it.
Unless this trip to the secluded house was sans-missus, in which case.
1. TV with DVD player and porn DVDs
2. Porn DVDs.
3. Porn DVDs.
I assume this place has curtains? Thus no need to bring extra tissues/toiletpaper.
Central A/C, heated pool, booze fridge, Glock G34, an occasional rack of lamb with garlic mash.
In fairness the first two are pretty standard in the environment I live in. A separate full height fridge in the garage, full of beer and liquor is an extravagance and I do insist that my home defence/personal protection isn't going to go piss-shaped on me if I ever need to call upon it.
Lamb is hard to find - and expensive. It reminds me of home.
