am on my mobile so excuse the formatting. i have a problem in that a faulty cash machine couldn.t eject my card so it kept it. i am catching a train before the bank opens and will arrive at kings cross at 11:50. i then have to be at waterlooin time for a 12:53 connection. i need to know which branch of barclays will be open that i can get to and still make the train. if i dont have the right cash at jourbeys end it will be a wasted trip! i cant access barclays website and myself and their indian call centre staff don.t have enough local knowledge. kings x branch wont be open and he couldnt find the one in waterloo. i definitely know regent st branch will be open, is that straight forward on the tube? any better ideas? branch def. has to be open else im screwed!

A quick search tells me that Barclays branches (in general/all?) open till mid-day on Saturdays.
For your sake, I hope the cash machine that kept your card wasn't actually one rigged to do so.

the nearest one (distance) that is open tomorrow morning is:

Barclays Bank
14 Upper Street
Islington

London
N1 0PQ

Opens at 9am and is 0.8 miles away from the station

ETA: This is according to the Barclays site and I take NO responsibility if its not!!

Note: there are 2 nearer, 23 Euston Road and 73 Russell Square but apparently they DO NOT open on a Saturday.

GOOD LUCK

The Regents st branch (open 10.00 - 18.00) is just off Piccadilly - take the Piccadilly line at Kings X & travel to Piccadilly Circus. Then get on the Bakerloo line at Piccadilly Circus to Waterloo.

Journy time about 10 mins & 6 mins respectively.

Good luck.

Loads of branches but most seem to be closed on Saturday. Regent St might be better as it's close to Piccadilly Circus tube, jump off Piccadilly line from Kings Cross, go to bank, jump on Bakerloo to Waterloo.

If you go to the Islington one, you'll probably have to walk from Kings Cross and then back again to get a line that goes to Waterloo.

Edit: oops and now I read Smiler's post where he said exactly the same thing 15 minutes ago. Ah well.

After re-reading the first post, I now realise that the OP is not going to be hanging around Kings X before the time he states, rather arriving at that time

Woops!! LOL
