Lodger's - what a wind up
Discussion
My previous lodger used to spend 13-15 mins in the shower every evening. How? and why? Even taking hair washing into account what on earth can you do in the shower for that length of time????
Current one is a definate improvement but she has no idea how to turn the lights out. grrrrrrrr

Erm wash, lather yourself up and press your chest up against the glass, then seductively turn around and press your soapy bottom up against the glass rubbing up and down while looking in the mirror with your finger in your mouth.I used to be the lodger. I take at most five minutes in the shower. My landlord used to take 20 minute showers (every day). They also used to let their hair clog up the drain, and only remove it when I told them to. They would then use a hair drier for at least 10 minutes.
They would then complain to me about the gas and electricity bills.
That was a wind up!

No. The lens gets all steamed up and you can't make out any detail.Sheets Tabuer said:

[quote=Steamer]I'm just in the early stages of getting a lodger of my own
Wouldnt mind hearing a few more good / bad & ugly stories.[/quote
It doesn't matter how "good" they are - in the end they WILL get on your bangers <Gok> as they're not friends or family. Come to think of it my bro was chuffin hopeless

Having lodgers is tricky. As others have said, eventually there will be something that winds you up.
I am still a student (hopefully for only a few more weeks) and am lucky to be in the position of owning my own house, but do need to have 2 other students renting rooms to make ends meet.
There are things that both of my lodgers do that annoy me, but I am happy to accept it because nothing is too major and the money coming in each months more than makes up for it.
What you have to do is think to yourself "Does the money coming in make up for annoyance?" If it doesnt then you probably have to think about not having lodgers at all. If the answer is yes, then you just have to think about that when you get annoyed.

Agreed however in my eg of said lodger who is incapable of switching off the lights - that's pure laziness especially for a 45yr old!I am still a student (hopefully for only a few more weeks) and am lucky to be in the position of owning my own house, but do need to have 2 other students renting rooms to make ends meet.
