Product group with biggest mark-up?

So which product or service do you reckon has the biggest difference between what it costs to buy/produce compared to the selling price?

Anything sold in those 'rich mans wife's hobby shops' are well over 100% markup.

Its not electricals, I know that bloody much.

Anything 'luxury' - ie watches get 100% markup from manufacturer to vendor, then 100% markup in shop window.

label heavy designer clothes. bespoke/high fashion is different.

i'd say it'd be some foodstuff in % terms. perhaps something like coke.

in wider terms, i'd say coke again, the powdery version this time

We're marking by stuff by a 1000% or more here quite frequently.

All manufactured in the far east in a morally dubious fashion I would imagine.

Coke (as suggested just above) is a good one. When I worked there in the 90s, it cost 4p to make a can. 1p for the liquid, 3p for the tin.

The easy-mix stuff in pubs is even cheaper!

It costs roughly £2 to produce a genuine pair of Levis or the like. This obviously doesn't include shipping costs etc.
