The funniest (for some reason it really tickled my sense of humour) Navy nickname I heard was a lad on board one of the older SSNs that was Christened Pid - as in Stupid. Just remembered. When I graduated from my MSc, there was a Suck Me Low (Not sure of spelling, but that was the pronunciation) called out. The whole congregation fell about laughing and the poor VC nearly bit his tongue off trying not to laugh. Made even worse when someone whispered slightly too loudly, "was that an instruction or a call for the next graduate".
