Radio 2 really needs a shake out I think, even Wogan is fresh out of novelty and no one, apart from RA, plays decent music or makes me laugh of a morn, it was bloody great listening to Brian May belting it out today

^Mark Radcliffe^ + 1: can't stand Steve Wright; banal rehearsed drivel, with braying sycophants. Listen to the music, flick over, flick back, suppose it gives me something to do!

Hate to say this but I prefer the dotty old mare to Richard Allinson. He has just driven me back to Radio 4 on my way to work. It may be irrational, but I just can't stand him!

HOWEVER, a thorough shake up for Radio two would not go amiss at all, the only things I like are the news and traffic. Maybe the new boss will sort it out eventually and we can all go back to being comatose in the mornings.

Rob.

(Do keep JW somewhere on the schedule though)

While we're on the subject, did anyone hear Steve bloody Wright this afternoon? Sally traffic had done her bit and refered to a spillage somewhere on the roads. She hands back to Steve who say's "Spillage rhymes with Steve Hillage, yes it does, Spillage/Hillage".

I learnt how to rhyme words when I was at infant school thanks you fkwit.

Richard Allinson is so much better than that dreadful Sarah Kennedy, but then it's not difficult is it.

Janet and John is as always still as classic and often has me laughing like a loon when I'm sat in traffic in the morning.

Steve Wright is getting nearly as annoying as Sarah Kennedy and some of the programmes need a big shake up

Newbie, so my view may not hold much sway, but gotta say that, during the daytime, Ken Bruce (the end is in sight) and Steve Wright do more to put me off R2 than any others you can mention put together.

Another vote for Radcliffe > Steve $hite. In fact I've once started a dedicated post on the subject and 100% consensus was to sack the nob end.

I wonder what the actual reasons are for R2 not sacking the fella, or relocating him to a slot that does no harm (3am) Radcliffe and his sidekicks are genuinely funny.

Don't get me started on the most non humurous character in the entertainment biz...Mr Moyles....utter $hite, and whenever on telly, genuinely not bloody funny.

+1 Vine is Daily Mail radio at its utter worst. Back to R4 when he's on.

+ 2: since he laid into the business I operate in, with the most ill-informed drivel imaginable, I find it impossible to believe a single word he says. Daily Rant at its worst, his brother is both funnier & better informed...but so is my cat.

Aye, 12 noon comes and off goes the radio and on with the MP3 until home-time.......

Vine is just terrible. The Trisha of the radio waves.

Who covered for him around Easter ? I caught a bit of one show in the car and it was so much better.

Jimmy Young must be spitting feathers at what has been done to his show. Govt ministers used to dread the JY interview, now the interview technique has the gravitas of

And he only worked with somebody's arm stuffed up inside him.

Michael Banister (think it's Michael) who used to run Radio 1 is superb.

Makes Vainy look 100% of the ahole that he is.

Great music, open to all viewpoints in the phone in, relaxed and professional.

Matthew Bannister. He's an idiot, fancy getting rid of DLT and Bruno Brookes, what a madman.
