OMG there is a whole world out there that I haven't been aware of!

My step daughter set up my account ages ago but I have never logged on until I got a nudge today and WOW I never knew I could waste so much time catching up with people I dropped because I didn't want to see them again! biggrin

Oh the bad old days; just too much fun wink

I thought that was torturing defenceless animals?

Which is closer to Website Feedback than Facebook.

I refuse to use facebook. I like leaving the past, in the past where it belongs smile Im not interested in seeing my school mates posing/pouting to the camera tbh.

scratchchin I avoid it too - but now I think about it, there were a few hotties that I wouldnt mind catching up with...

...however, I'm sure it will be as futile as when I dug my old Amiga 500 out of the loft and fired it up again: hours of disappointment, staring into a screen thinking 'st... this looked SO much better 20 years ago frown '

The first time you sign up, if you listen very intensely, you can hear a little bit of you die.

The first time I signed up I spotted one of the female account managers dressed up in PVC bounce

...all I heard was a little voice on one shoulder saying 'This is going to be trouble.. dont send a..' but by then it was too late biggrin

Snap at 20. Great way of keeping up with mates at uni (without running up a massive phone bill)

But do you have anything to talk about? I speak to my good friends from uni about once every 3 months, and even though when I go to see them we can talk st for hours on end, I really don't want to see it on facebook everytime they fart.

Facebook turns everyone into women IMO, communicating constantly without really saying very much. I don't mean that in a derogatory way to women, they tend to communicate more about things which to my pre-facebook male mind are fairly trivial.

The people I do see and communicate with daily, colleagues, neighbours and the like, I wouldn't really get any value out of communicating with if it wasn't face to face.
