Took the mrs and the dog there today adn tried to find this stream/brook i went to a few years ago.

I have no idea where abouts it was apart from being inside the New Forest.

There was a road bridge that crossed the brook and the river bed was stones/shingle so the water was clear, i'm sure it was close to a farm aswell.

i know this is a long shot but i dont suppose anyone knows the name/area of this or even any photos? would love to take the pooch there to have fun in the water

I know the one you're thinking of, but I can't think of the name!

Another place which is the same idea but a bit more off the beaten track is Linford Brook.

If I can remember the first one (I'll ask the oldies when I next speak to them), I'll post again!

Might be Puttles Bridge?

Any idea in roughly what vicinity? Fordingbridge? Lyndhurst? There's quite a few that it could be, having thought about it!

I reckon you mean the stream crossing near Rockford, on the way to the Red Shoot. Like the man said, there are quite a few.

Near the East end Ellingham Drove. If youre going north from Ringwood, its a right turn about 1.5km up.

There is one like you describe at Moyles Court - it is not far from Ibsley airfield

Erm, just for info, Rockford/Moyles Court isn't just a bridge: the most heavily trafficked bit for visitors is by the ford, where the road turns for North Gorley. The bridge beforehand isn't well sighted for stopping & paddling. And the buildings are the school, rather than a farm? But apart from that, it's identical, obviously wink
HTH, just endeavouring to save you the travel if it's not what you're after!

Bottom of Rhinefield Ornamental Drive? We regularly stop there for the dogs to have a splash in the stream!

Good luck, I'm still trying to find the lake I used to fish in as a kid on google earth in the hambledon/denmead area. All i remember is that it was near pylons. I've followed them on GE from the substation to Southampton and still not found the damned lake...

Yep, same here. Cleans the dogs off before heading to the B&B Puttles Bridge IIRC
