Something i've just discovered:

If you click search on any ph page, then right click on the search box,
select create search it will generate a box for you.
Then right click on your toolbar, click customize and drag it from the buttons-search tab, to somewhere on your toolbars and et voila you can now search PH from anywhere.

I only found this out because i was changing my default google search to google UK, and now also have a syntax to search within PH from google through my toolbar

IE7 has the facility to create searches from most sites. You create a search for the word, "test" then cut and paste the url to add it to the choice in the top right
