Getting the cat out!
Discussion
This weekend I went great trouble to install two cat flaps for our young cat to get out and about.
The thing is the daft bugger hasn't got a clue what to do (unsurprisingly). I've tried baiting her with treats and toys but she's not taking it!
Any top tips for cat owners on how to get her out and about?

Tie a piece of string around the flap so that its open to the door handle. Gradually lower the flap over a period of a few days so they get used to bashing it with thier heads.
You could prop it up but they tend to knock this out the way, the flap shuts and they sit and stare at you through the patio doors like its YOUR fault
Shouldnt take too long. My two have to be the dumbest cats on the planet yet they learnt it within a few days

I almost did something similar when both cats decided to run through the flap at the same time (same direction, luckily). They eventually squeezed through - and did it again a few weeks ago.Gassing Station | The Lounge | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
