No, my leopard doesn't have acne.

I've been going out with my girlfriend for 5 years, we've had our ups and downs wink over the years but we get along great.
Anyway, a year ago she was at work (Barmaid) and she got chatted up by a bloke and she gave him her number. She told me a few days later as if it was nothing and I went ballistic. After the dust settled, I let it go and we carried on as normal. A few weeks later I found out she'd been talking and texting him, with his number stored in her phone under some girl from college's name.
Cue massive row, me finding out his email address (I couldn't get his number) and writing an angry email to him consisting of the words, cock, fker, wker, toss pot, legs, broken, face and .
He replied back that nothing had happened, they were just chatting and that he had a missus and didn't want any trouble. I chilled out and apologised for flipping out and that was the last I heard of it.
2 days ago I 'accessed' my girlfriends hotmail account and saw she'd had a facebook message from him. It was a reply from a message she had sent to him. His basically said that he had moved to a new flat 20 miles away and had split up with his missus.

So I'm trying to decide whether to leave it and put it down as general harmless chit-chat or say something to the girlfriend about it. She hasn't mentioned it and has now deleted the message from her hotmail.

What do you reckon? Maybe another informal chat with him or should I stop being a jealous cock?

Him?? Granted, he's being a bit of a sneaky censored, but it's your missus that needs the talking to IMO.

I would normally sit here and preach about it's probably harmless fun, but if it was me in that situation, i'd be livid!

The fact that they have been exchanging hello's via Facebook and Hotmail, is imo not on!

Your girlfriend should never have given her number out in the first place?

Sounds dodgy fella. I'd bin your GF and move on. Put it this way if you were in a relationship and a girl asked for your number would you give her it? At the end of the day everyone gets bored and starts looking somewhere else for that little bit of excitement (i.e someone else banging her backdoors in). Your chasing a lost cause I reckon.

Leave her. You don't trust her, she doesn't respect you.

Just how is that conversation going to start?

'Sweetie, I was reading your email the other day and...'

You'd be drop kicked quicker than you can say Twickenham.

Her message to him consisted of:

Hi Dan,

How are you?? Long time I guess since we last spoke, hows things been?? The lads from (his sunday footy team) said that you've moved to ******, i think they told tracy, as tracy said we hadn't seen you for a while.

I noticed your facebook said you are now single, so you and michelle split? what happened?

Speak soon and hope all is good,
Gem
xx

His reply:

Hi Gem,

I am fine thanks kinda making a brand new start I guess. Me an shell broke up a few weeks back now basically things just weren't working between us at all been like it since christmas and really I should have finished with her then. From experience, no a leopard doesn't change their spots.

She will cheat on you the 1st chance she gets or if she can make sure the next safty net is a sure thing she will be off like a shot.

1) blokes don't finish with 'xx' unless they are after sexual favours

2) She wrote to him when she found out he'd split up and moved closer.

Dump...

I'm with you on that one monthefish. Without her giving her number out this wouldnt have happened. Have you asked her why she did that? Like really, WHY did she do it?

Got that feeling when it first happened.

He had a missus, she wanted to go on a break when it all kicked off and I said I don't do breaks, we split or nothing. Her reply was she didn't want to completely call it off.
To me that reeked of 'I don't want to, encase he doesn't split with his missus'

Tell your GF that a friend needs to email her account as yours is not working properly. Get a friend to email your GF some car link or nonsense. When she signs in, be ready and point out the email from this chap asking what the deal is.Yes it's all very sneaky but she started it! SWT!

The problem here is if you leave her, you know where she is going!

I've already got access to her Email account. I feel like a cock for not trusting her but she makes me so paranoid. If it was the other way round she would freak out.
It does seem a coincidence that she messages him the day she finds out he split with his missus. Might be time to call it a day. I really care about her though and it seems like 5 years down the stter for nothing.

Two choices walk away with your head held high and the high moral ground or get yourself signed up on Match or POF and get a new and improved version lined up.
