I thought it might be a good idea that seeing as most people's vocabulary consists of "innit" (this may or may not be true), the more educated amongst us might teach the great unwashed some rather infrequent words. Henceforth new words can be used to bamboozle in management meetings or whatever other use tickles your fancy (is that a euphemism for flicking the bean incidentally?). I suspect most of the words will probably end up as insults...

- saprophyte /sap-ruh-fyt/ - A plant, fungus or micro-organism that lives on decaying matter (adj - saprophytic). Greek sapros - putrid + phuton - plant.
- virago /vi-rah-goh/ - a domineering, violent or bad tempered woman.
